Here is our story:
We both had stellar careers and were looking for a job where we could travel, work, earn dollars and most importantly – have FUN! With our conferencing and event management business, we were fortunate enough to work in some amazing locations Australia wide.
As we often chatted freely to the desk staff we thought “Wow that would be fun, everyone is on holidays or working but all are enjoying themselves”.
After two seasons of managing a Wilderness Resort Complex for APT in the Kimberley WA and Kings Canyon in NT, we returned with fresh eyes and enthusiasm. We did the front of office management course and with a lot of bluff and bravado and headed to our first job. There was little to no training but we put two minds together and worked it out. Since then we have managed motels from Blackwater to Narrabri to South West Rocks and everywhere in between.
We love being Motel Relief Managers and will guide you and be your backup when you start.
